Prerequisites

Technical requirements for the course | Mandatory:

• You must bring your own laptop;
• You must have administrator privileges to install software in your computer;
• The following software and packages must be installed prior to the course:
  • First install R: https://cran.r-project.org/;
  • Then install RStudio: https://posit.co/download/rstudio-desktop/.

R packages required:

• “tidyverse”, “patchwork”, “knitr”, “here”, “bioconductor”, “readxl”, “RColorBrewer” (basic packages)
• “edgeR”, “limma”, and “DESeq2” (for differential expression analysis)
• “gprofiler2” (for functional enrichment analysis)
