CaCau (Cancer Causality for Precision Oncology | Phase 2) is the continuation of the CaCau initiative, advancing the computational exploration of causal mechanisms in cancer with the goal of contributing to precision oncology strategies. Building upon the preparatory work established in Phase 1, this phase focuses on the large-scale analysis of molecular data, employing advanced computing resources to develop integrative models that can inform personalized cancer treatment approaches.

Funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) under the Call for Advanced Computing Projects (4th edition): A2 Regular Access, the project is led by Isabel Duarte, researcher at the University of Algarve (UAlg) and member of the Pattern Institute.
