CaCau (Cancer Causality | Phase 1) is a computational research project dedicated to the exploration of causal mechanisms underlying cancer development. The project leverages advanced computing resources to conduct preparatory analyses and develop computational workflows aimed at uncovering biological pathways and molecular interactions implicated in cancer causality.
Funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) under the Call for Advanced Computing Projects (3rd edition): A1 Preparatory or Development Access (Round D), CaCau is led by Isabel Duarte, a researcher at the University of Algarve (UAlg) and a member of the Pattern Institute.
