CaCau (Cancer Causality for Precision Oncology | Model Testing) represents the next step in the CaCau project series, focused on validating and testing computational models developed to elucidate causal mechanisms in cancer. This phase specifically aims to evaluate model performance and robustness using large-scale molecular datasets, further supporting precision oncology applications.

The project is funded under the Call for Advanced Computing Projects (5th edition): A2 Regular Access | Fast-track by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT). It is led by Isabel Duarte, researcher at the University of Algarve and member of the Pattern Institute.
